about

Kim Seltzer is a filmmaker, comedian, and software engineer living in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Paul, and their dog, Paul Jr. Writing credits include ClickHole, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Team Coco Digital, Upright Citizens Brigade, and surprisingly, Hallmark. After studying computer science at UCLA, Kim made her way through the tech industry, interning in Silicon Valley, consulting LA startups, and working as a Sr. Software Engineer at Final Draft. In 2022, she debuted the experimental tech comedy show Password 1234 at The Elysian's "Forget About Spaghetti'' festival, which featured an interactive iOS app, AR/VR demos, and a live hologram. She recently created and starred in an independent sketch comedy pilot called ALL THIS FOR WHAT, which you can and, dare I say, should watch here. She is exactly one half of the duo Kim & Aliya, whose sketches you can watch here and podcast you can listen to here. Kim & Aliya achieved the highest imaginable honor (started a trend on TikTok) in 2024 with their “powdered donut” vid which you can go ahead and watch here.
